Owners Tommy and Lauren Junker bring a unique blend of industry knowledge, design savvy, and customer-first service to every project.
With over 16 years of experience, Tommy has worked across the entire flooring industry—spanning manufacturing, distribution, retail, product development, and executive management. Many of the hardwood and vinyl products he developed are still purchased and installed across the U.S. today.
Lauren, a graduate of the Texas A&M School of Nursing, specialized in neonatal and cardiovascular therapy before launching two thriving businesses: Lauren Junker Photography and Emerson Jane Boutique. Her entrepreneurial spirit and eye for design compliment Tommy’s flooring expertise, forming the foundation of McKinney Hardwood Flooring.
Their combined passion for design, detail, and outstanding customer experiences led them to purchase Competitive Hardwood & Flooring, now rebranded as McKinney Hardwood Flooring, to bring expert flooring solutions to homes across the region.
